"I started my first training with CAT Driver training, mainly to get some technique and confidence behind the wheel. I got all that and so much more. Colin is really the Yoda of car control, patiently explaining not only how to drive on the limit, but also why the car behaves the way it does. He is constantly encouraging you to push your limits and those of the car. And best of all, almost everything is done in the car. No boring theory or waiting to get out on track. Since then, I've taken more training, following their excellent track and race driving academy program. Each session was building on the previous one and on my own needs. Different tracks were chosen according to the focus of that session. Now I'm competing in Fun-Cup, and having a great time, thanks to the entire CAT Driver Training team! I strongly recommend them, no matter what your current level is."

When looking into driver training there was quite a lot of options. I call CAT training to see if they could do a course to work with the knowledge and experience I had. I spoke with Jo on the phone and she understood what I was after. Colin phoned me back the next day to ensure that the series of activities was going to be what I needed. I my opinion this conversation at this time was important so he could see what level I was at and what I wanted to gain. I had my training on Valentine's Day (I have an understanding wife, see was at work). Turned up at 8:20 and was met by Colin. He takes you down to his office in the middle of Millbrook for a h&s breifing along with the standard briefings they have to undertake. I should state that I am part of a race club and complete in a single seater series. The course was tailored for all my needs and I quickly when through each section due to my experience however this was building on my knowledge. Colin's manner and the way he explains the craft is simple and very effective. We covered a wide range of techniques from threshold braking, observation, maximum grip of tyres, trail braking too much to mention. Colin will never move onto the next section unless you and he is happy that you can comfortable complete that technique. Lunch is provided for and was great. I spent a full day with Colin and would definitely go back probably before my next season in racing as I have much to build upon. You will not regret the day and I am sure you will have as much fun as I did. Keep up the good work Colin and Jo and look forward to seeing you again.

"The briefings and explanations are concise, yet thorough. This made it easy to stay focused and interested in the theory between applications. Colin’s manner and clear wealth of knowledge made for an approachable teacher that I felt comfortable asking any question at all. I was confident to progress as quickly as I felt capable, and Colin facilitated the learning curve appropriate to my ability. "Had a blast yesterday at the CAT Driver Training. This course should be a 'must' for every performance car owner. It is not going to transform you in a race driver overnight (you need lots of practice for that), but it does open 'the doors of perception' in terms of how to have fun with your car and how it behaves at the limit. Also very good advice and experience even if you are not a total newbie and look to improve different aspects of your driving. Many thanks to Jo and Paul."

"CAT Driver training (Race Tuition) I had gone to CAT driver training to improve my technique and feel for my car before my first race two weeks later. Colin went above and beyond on the day at Millbrook managing to cram about as much as I could possibly learn and yet still manage to make me understand it all in the engineering terms that I understand. I feel so much more confident now about the first race and I cannot recommend Colin's coaching enough. I will certainly be using him again!"
